About the University of Medical Sciences and Technology (UMST), Rwanda Campus Founded in 1996 in Khartoum, Sudan, the University of Medical Sciences and Technology (UMST) began with a modest campus and two pioneering faculties — Medicine and Medical Laboratory Technology. Over the years, UMST has evolved into a prestigious institution known for its commitment to academic excellence, vibrant research culture, and impactful social contributions. Starting with only 60 students, the aim was to close the existing gaps between public and private university education. UMST has grown exponentially. By 2021, it supported 17 faculties, welcomed over 7,000 students, and offered more than 27 postgraduate programs across fields such as medical sciences, engineering, and the humanities. UMST has consistently excelled in medical disciplines, earning recognition and accreditation from numerous international organizations.

1.Secondary School Certificate 2.Copy of Passport or National ID 3. passport-sized photographs 4. For certificates pertaining to the year 2023, please include the Higher Education application form. For certificates from previous years, kindly submit the education form at a later stage when the second admission period commences.
