About the Thrive Grant The Thrive Grant is an international funding initiative administered by Thrive Philanthropy, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting transformative food systems and reducing dependence on industrial animal agriculture. The grant is specifically designed for mid-size or larger nonprofit organizations and initiatives that are already demonstrating measurable impact in their communities or sectors. Through this funding opportunity, Thrive Philanthropy seeks to support organizations working to: 1: Accelerate alternatives to industrial animal agriculture 2: Promote plant-rich and sustainable food systems 3: Increase awareness of nutritious plant-based foods 4: Improve access to healthy plant-based nutrition 5: Advance equitable and inclusive food system transformation The organization places a strong emphasis on equity and encourages applications led by or meaningfully involving women, people of color, and marginalized communities. Requirements
Eligible Organizations Organizations may apply if they: 1. Operate outside the United States 2. Are not international chapters of US-based organizations 3. Are nonprofit organizations 4. Demonstrate a positive reputation within their communities and stakeholder networks 5. Align with Thrive Philanthropy's Safe Space Policy 6. Focus on plant-based food systems or alternatives to industrial animal agriculture 7. Have an annual budget below $500,000 USD (priority consideration)
