A short, clear summary or objective at the top
Education listed with dates, most recent first

No spelling or grammar errors (read it out loud, or ask someone to check)
Consistent formatting and fonts throughout
Saved as a PDF with a clear filename (e.g. FirstName-LastName-CV.pdf)
