MINISTRY OF HEALTH-SPONSORED SCHOLARSHIPS SEPTEMBER 2026 INTAKE
Adventist University of Central Africa (AUCA) announces the availability of 54 Government-sponsored scholarships allocated by the Ministry of Health (MoH) for the September 2026 intake, 36 for Bachelor of Midwifery and 18 for Bachelor of Nursing. The scholarships are available for eligible candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor of Midwifery and Bachelor of Nursing programmes.
ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION
Applications are invited from candidates who meet the applicable AUCA admission requirements, programme-specific requirements, and Higher Education Council (HEC) requirements for undergraduate admission. Eligible applicants will participate in the required selection process, including an entrance examination.
Scholarships will be awarded to candidates who are successfully selected through the applicable process.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Before 2008:
A2 Nursing with valid NCNM license and required C+ grades
Before 2024:
2 Principal Pass, with C in Biology and Chemistry, with D in Mathematics or Physics
From 2024:
Required Combinations:
PCB, MCB, BCG, Associate Nurse Programme
Required pathways: STEM Pathway
The candidate must
Have a high school certificate with 60% (E)
2PP with at least 60% (E) marks in Biology and 60% (E) marks in Chemistry.
Have a high school certificate in Associate Nurse Programme with 2PP (Fundamentals of Nursing and Clinical Placement with at least 60% (E)).
N.B: Adequate English proficiency.
