EACC & Chancen International Scholarship 2026
Study Now, Pay Later Scholarship Opportunity for Rwandan Students
East African Christian College (EACC), in partnership with Chancen International, is pleased to announce a scholarship student financing opportunity for motivated and qualified Rwandan students.
The opportunity is offered through an Income Share Agreement (ISA), also known as the “Study Now, Pay Later” model. This financing model enables eligible students to pursue their studies with flexible financial support.
Available Programmes
Eligible applicants can apply for the following programmes:
- Diploma of Education in Child Development
- Bachelor of Business Administration in Monitoring and Evaluation
- Advanced Diploma in General Nursing
- Advanced Diploma in Midwifery
Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is intended for qualified Rwandan students who meet the academic requirements for their chosen programme.
Applicants who obtained their academic qualifications outside Rwanda may also apply, provided they meet the required equivalence requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Diploma of Education in Child Development
Applicants who completed secondary education before 2024
Applicants must:
- Have completed secondary education before 2024.
- Possess an A2 Certificate with two principal passes, in any combination studied.
Applicants who completed secondary education in Rwanda from 2024 onwards
Applicants must:
- Hold an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education, in any combination studied.
Applicants who studied outside Rwanda
Applicants must:
- Provide an equivalence certificate for their foreign academic qualification.
2. Bachelor of Business Administration in Monitoring and Evaluation
Applicants who completed secondary education in Rwanda before 2024
Applicants must possess an A2 Certificate with two principal passes in one of the following combinations:
- MPG – Mathematics, Physics, Geography
- MEG – Mathematics, Economics, Geography
- MCE – Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics
- MPC – Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science
- MCB – Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology
- SME – Science and Mathematics Education
- HEG – History, Economics and Geography
- HEL – History, Economics and Literature
- Any TVET programme with Mathematics examined at the national level
Applicants who completed secondary education in Rwanda from 2024 onwards
Applicants must:
- Hold an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education in one of the options listed above.
3. Advanced Diploma in General Nursing
4. Advanced Diploma in Midwifery
Applicants for Advanced Diploma in General Nursing or Advanced Diploma in Midwifery must meet the applicable requirements below.
Required A2 combinations/programmes
The applicant must possess an A2 Certificate in one of the following combinations or programmes:
- MCB – Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology
- PCB – Physics, Chemistry, Biology
- BCG – Biology, Chemistry, Geography
- Associate Nursing Practice (ANP)
Applicants who completed secondary school before 2024
Applicants must:
- Have obtained a grade of A, B, C, or D in Biology and Chemistry.
- Must NOT have obtained an F (fail) in Mathematics, Physics, or Geography.
Applicants who completed secondary school from 2024 onwards
Applicants must:
- Have obtained a grade of A, B, C, D, E, or S in Biology and Chemistry.
A2 Nurses
A2 Nurses must possess:
- An A2 Nursing Certificate; and
- A valid License of Practice.
Applicants who studied outside Rwanda
Applicants must:
- Provide an equivalence certificate for their foreign academic qualification.
How the Chancen ISA Works
This scholarship opportunity uses an Income Share Agreement (ISA) model.
Under this model, students receive financial support to pursue their studies and agree to meet the applicable ISA obligations under Chancen International's terms and conditions.
The programme is therefore commonly described as a:
“Study Now, Pay Later” financing model.
Applicants should carefully read the official Chancen ISA information and understand the applicable eligibility requirements, modalities, terms, and conditions before accepting the financing.
Important Notice for Successful Applicants
Students who are admitted through this opportunity will be required to:
- Meet Chancen International's ISA requirements.
- Attend the required ISA Workshop before the starting date of classes.
- Comply with the applicable terms and conditions of the Income Share Agreement.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to understand the ISA arrangement before proceeding with the programme.
